Our Philosophy

What We Believe In:

Carefully selecting each ingredient. We consider the purpose and properties of each ingredient, whether natural or synthetic, and develop our own formulations. All formulations begin with fresh, natural ingredients and are complemented with safe and effective synthetics only when there is a tangible benefit to the product and user.

Excluding phthalates, parabens, harsh chemicals and “iffy” ingredients. If in doubt, we keep it out. We only use phthalate-free fragrances in our bath and home fragrance products. Body and skincare products that linger on the skin, such as lotion, lip balms, and facials, are scented with all natural plant extracts (i.e. essential oils, absolutes, oleoresins or distillates).

Refraining from hype and keeping it real. We prefer to tinker in lab than to write copy. Though Threla is not perfect, we won’t use hype to make our products sound like the elixir of everlasting youth.

Creating fun and delicious daily indulgences. Hey, good can be fun, right? Case in point: our ever expanding lip balm collection - we have over 30 flavors including earl grey, sangria, and even durian. We are constantly on the lookout for new ingredients and unique scents.
